What can you say about the path ahead? What you see for the company, it's accomplishments, and the place of VAST Data in the world.
I think the path ahead is a really exciting one, a lot more exciting than what I envisioned when we started.
It was almost… not right to have such large ambitions beyond what we were working on at the time. But now that we've achieved a portion of what we were working on, we can expand that vision into something that for me is a lot more interesting and more consequential to the world at large.
I believe we are at the cusp of an AI revolution, where machines are starting to perform tasks previously thought to be exclusive to humans. The way technology progresses exponentially, it's both hard and a bit scary to imagine the future we're heading towards once we hit that inflection point- but we want to push that forward. We want to bring it in to our lifetimes. I think enabling technologies sometimes take a back seat to the algorithms and applications that drive the actual AI part of it. But I think enabling technologies are the driving forces behind it. And that's our part, that's where we want to be.
